You must be physically in Florida at the time of the appointment, be a legal resident of Florida, and be at least 18 years old to receive treatment.

Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, and any relevant medical records or referral forms to your appointment.

Your telemedicine visit will be private and confidential. It is conducted using a secure encrypted Internet connection, ensuring the same level of privacy as if you and the provider were in the same room. When the consultation is completed, information about the visit is stored in a secure electronic record system.

You’ll be sent a link for the video session. Click on it when our session is scheduled to start, or open it through the https://doxy.me/drbellassai app (download free in the app store). You can use the camera and audio on your computer or mobile device.

Your cost for a video session will vary depending on the coverage you have with your insurance provider. If you are self-pay, a reduced fixed rate has been given for an initial visit of $150.00, and follow-up visits are $75.00. We can determine your exact coverage and what your copay will be before we schedule a session.

Dr. Bellassai, DNP, attended Florida State University for psychiatry and obtained another certification from FSU specializing in Veterans Mental Health. She has a Doctorate in nursing practice and a Master's Degree from the University of South Florida, where she specialized in family health. 

She has worked in the hospital setting, caring for those undergoing a severe mental crisis. She has worked with the older population and those recovering from surgery in skilled nursing facilities by managing their mental health. She has worked providing psychiatric services via telemedicine, treating those with common psychiatric disorders. 

She is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps! She uniquely understands the veteran population serving proudly and honorably!
